SHOP FITOUT
Shop fit out of the year
The Shop Fit Out of the Year recognises the best store fitout in the eyes of both SRF Members and Sponsors based on design elements, space planning, ambience, innovation, merchandising and value proposition displayed in their fitout.
- Nominees lodge a written submission and photos to a judging panel appointed by the SRF Board. Judged submission carries 100% weighting
- The shop fit must have been a new store or a refurbishment completed in the previous 12 months
- 2013 Award has guest Judge, Brian Walker from the Retail Doctor Group http://www.retaildoctor.com.au/
RETAILER AWARDS
The following state based retail Award Categories recognize the surf industry best retailer for that category in the eyes of Surf Retailers Federation Sponsors and its customers.
- SRF Sponsors cast one vote for each category considering each retailers fitout, product mix, brand history and carries 80% weighting
- Public vote carries 20% weighting
- Single Store Retailer of the Year nominees can only own one store
NSW Retailer of the Year
NSW Single Store Retailer of the Year
VIC / TAS Retailer of the Year
VIC / TAS Single Store Retailer of the Year
SA / NT Retailer of the Year
SA / NT Single Store Retailer of the Year
QLD Retailer of the Year
QLD Single Store Retailer of the Year
WA Retailer of the Year
WA Single Store Retailer of the Year
National (Chain) Retailer of the Year - retail chains of 5 or more stores operating in more than one state and carry multiple brands or a single brand
Core Boardstore
The Core Boardstore Award recognizes the surf industry best boardstore in the eyes of Surf Retailers Federation Sponsors and its customers.The award is open to dedicated hardware based stores that sell surfboards, wetsuits, boardcovers and accessories as the core of its business.
- SRF Sponsors cast one vote considering each retailers fitout, product mix, brand representation, trading history and carries 80% weighting
- Public vote carries 20% weighting
Note:
- Retailers must operate solely within the state or territory nominated
- National (chain) Retailer category is for chains of 5 or more stores operating in more than one state
INDUSTRY AWARD
Environment Award
The Environment Award of the Year recognises an environmental initiative(s) within the business or community with measurable result(s) in eyes of both SRF Members and Sponsors. This award is open to both retailers and brands.
- Nominees lodge a written submission and photos to a judging panel appointed by the SRF Board. Judged submission carries 100% weighting.
